REPORT ON ENDANGERED PLANTS
On August 17, Navajyothi College of Teacher Education for Women, Olarikara, initiated the cultivation of 20 endangered plant species as part of its commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. The Endangered plants were collected from Mannuthy. The primary objective of this project is to cultivate endangered plant species to conserve biodiversity and promote sustainable consumption and production practices. By nurturing these plants, the college aims to contribute to environmental conservation efforts and educate students and the community about the importance of preserving endangered species. The cultivation of endangered plant species at Navajyothi College of Teacher Education for Women, Olarikara, exemplifies the institution’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship. By undertaking this project, the college is not only contributing to the conservation of biodiversity but also empowering students and the community to become responsible stewards of the environment.
