REPORT ON NATURE CLUB INAUGURATION, AND CELEBRATION OF WORLD SOIL DAY AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION DAY

On 7^th December 2022, Wednesday the IQAC in collaboration with Nature Club of Navajyothi College Olarikkara conducted morning programme. On this day the celebration of world soil day and wildlife conservation day was organized by physical science and Malayalam option. The announcement was done by Vinija K.V from Malayalam option. The programme began with prayer lead by Mariya C.J from Malayalam option. Angel Rita from Physical Science welcomed the Principal Dr.Sr. Gigi Paul, teaching and non-teaching staffs, and student teachers. Principal Dr.Sr. Gigi Paul inaugurated the Nature Club of the year 2022 by cutting a watermelon and also she released the blog for Nature Club. Ranjith sir divided the watermelon into six pieces and shared with prefects of each option. Principal was invited to declare the prize winners of video presentation competition on the topic importance of the soil conducted on world soil day by Malayalam option. Physical science option won first prize, second prize by Malayalam, and third prize by Natural Science option. IQAC coordinator Ms Mary Ann Paul C was invited to present the prize to the winners. The talk on importance of world soil day and wildlife conservation day was done by Frieda Thomas from Physical Science option. The student teachers form physical science option portrayed the importance of conserving wildlife through a Roleplay. The vote of thanks was done by Filna Francis from Malayalam option. With National Anthem Programme was concluded.
